ReadyEye relays public-safety information from official sources and from people, shown with its source. It is a companion to 911 and Alert Ready — never a replacement. In an emergency, call 911.

We never issue an alert, an order, or advice of our own. Only the responsible authority does. When something on the app disagrees with an official instruction, follow the official instruction.

It is free to look at, for anyone. An account is only needed to post.

Post only what you have seen yourself, where you saw it. No threats, harassment, hate, sexual content, graphic injury, spam, or impersonation of an official body. A machine screens every post for those things and a person reviews reports before they are shown as verified. Posts that break these rules are removed and repeat offenders lose the ability to post.

Do not use ReadyEye to direct other people to go anywhere. That is the authority's job.

Official feeds can be late, wrong, or down; community reports are what someone believes they saw. We show the source and the status of every item so you can judge it, and we mark what a person has checked. We cannot guarantee any of it is complete or current, and we are not liable for decisions made on it.

You keep ownership of what you post. You give ReadyEye permission to show it, with your display name, to the people the app serves, and to keep it as part of the record of an event.

Communities that subscribe own their community's data and may export it.

One person per account. Keep your email current. We may close an account that breaks these terms. You may delete yours any time (see the privacy page).

ReadyEye is provided as is, without warranty. To the extent the law allows, its founders are not liable for losses arising from its use. These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada. Questions: readyeyeapp@gmail.com.
